This is a genuine 21 LPM high-flow pressure washer
It therefore requires an adequate water supply. For professional use, the machine should be supplied from a suitable buffer tank or water-storage tank capable of consistently feeding the pump.
A standard domestic garden tap may not provide sufficient water flow to reliably supply a 21 LPM pressure washer.
Using an appropriate buffer tank helps ensure the pump receives a consistent water supply and allows the machine to operate at its intended performance.

Before you buy
Can I run this directly from a garden tap?
Not reliably. The pump draws up to 21 litres every minute and many domestic taps cannot supply that consistently. A quick check: time how long your tap takes to fill a 10 litre bucket. If it takes longer than about 29 seconds, the tap is delivering less than 21 LPM and you should feed the machine from a buffer tank or water-storage tank.
What size buffer tank do I need?
It depends on how much water your supply delivers. The tank only has to cover the shortfall between your supply and the 21 LPM the pump draws. For example, if your tap delivers 12 LPM, the shortfall is 9 LPM, so a 250 litre tank gives you roughly 28 minutes of continuous spraying before it runs dry, and it refills whenever you release the trigger. Is the SILVERBACK electric start?
Yes. The Loncin 190FD is an electric-start petrol engine. A 12V 18Ah battery is supplied but requires connection before use. If the engine does not start within 5 seconds, release the key and wait at least 10 seconds before trying again.
What pump is fitted, and is it serviceable?
The machine uses an Annovi Reverberi RG21:25HN professional high-pressure pump rated to 21 LPM and up to 200 bar. It is fully serviceable: check the pump oil before each use, carry out the first oil change after the first week, then change it every 50 hours. Valves and seals are replaced every 200 hours. We recommend EquipGuard SAE 30 oil for the pump and original or manufacturer-approved spare parts.
Why use a 2:1 reduction gearbox?
The reduction gearbox allows the pump to operate at half engine speed rather than the full speed of a conventional direct-drive arrangement, helping reduce pump heat and mechanical stress during regular professional use.
Is it suitable for a rotary surface cleaner?
Yes. Its 21 LPM high-flow output makes it particularly effective for professional exterior cleaners using a correctly sized rotary surface cleaner. Make sure the surface cleaner is rated for at least 200 bar and 21 LPM and that its nozzles are sized for this flow.
What is the benefit of 21 LPM?
Pressure breaks dirt loose, flow carries it away. At 21 LPM the SILVERBACK moves 1,260 litres an hour, so you clean and rinse large areas faster and get more out of a rotary surface cleaner.
Can I use warm water?
Yes, up to a maximum inlet water temperature of 60°C. The SILVERBACK is a cold water pressure washer and does not heat water itself.
What fuel and oil does it use?
Unleaded petrol with an octane rating of 89 or higher. E10 is fine. For the engine use four-stroke oil to API SE or higher; we recommend EquipGuard 10W-40.
What warranty does it come with?
A 1 year return-to-base warranty from the date of purchase. Repairs or replacements are carried out at our repair centre in Knowsley.
