Taking the £189 camera kit out of our price so we compare like with like, the skyVac package costs £1,361.45 more. That's about 56 percent more than ours. Put the other way, ours is around 36 percent cheaper, with more motor power, a longer hose and Kevlar operator poles.
So why the difference? It comes down to how we run the business.
We buy in bulk
We buy our equipment in large volumes. That gives us strong pricing from manufacturers, and we pass that saving on rather than keeping it.
We run a lean operation
We work from a 25,000 square foot warehouse in Knowsley. Holding stock ourselves means we control costs, keep machines ready to ship, and deliver next day anywhere in the UK.
We keep our margins low
We'd rather sell more machines at a fair price than fewer at a high one. After around 50 years in the cleaning equipment trade, that approach has served our customers, and us, well.
Lower price doesn't mean lower spec
A cheaper machine is only good value if it does the job. Our Cyclone gutter vacuums are tested in-house by professional exterior cleaners before we sell them, and they're built around a full 51 millimetre airflow path from pole to tank. Our Kevlar poles cost the same as the standard poles they replaced, even though they're safer.
