The Carpet Agitator: Deeper Cleaning for Heavily Soiled Carpets
A motorised rotary brush that works detergent right into the pile, then pulls the dirt back out. Here's how it works and which machines it fits.
A standard carpet wand sprays and extracts. On regular soiled carpets that's enough. But on high-traffic areas, greasy kitchens, pub floors and rental properties between tenants, the dirt is ground deep into the pile, and spray-and-extract alone won't lift all of it.
That's the job of the carpet agitator: a metal rotary brush tool that scrubs the detergent into the carpet before you vacuum it back out.
How it works
- Spray: pull the trigger and the agitator sprays detergent from your carpet machine onto the carpet.
- Agitate: the rotary brush works the detergent deep into the pile, loosening dirt that a wand would leave behind.
- Extract: draw the agitator back towards you and it vacuums out the detergent and the dirt together.
