How it all began

In 2006, owner Jonathan Paxton and Edward Smith, were running a successful cleaning equipment business in Merseyside, selling to the end-user locally, and through distributors around the UK. The idea occurred to them to that it would be more sensible to offer the lower discounted prices, direct to the end-user through an online shopping store.

Having been in the Cleaning Industry since 1988, Jonathan used his contacts worldwide to source a new range of top quality cleaning equipment, dealing directly with some of the world's largest manufacturers under their own "Kiam" Brand. Firstly with petrol & diesel driven pressure washers, which had traditionally been the Company's most successful products, then small generators, and water pumps. With bulk purchasing power they were able to ensure the best possible Low Prices to the customer, at times, upsetting the old pressure washer market, who were still working on high margins.

Video demonstrations

In 2008 they were one of the first companies in the UK to use online Video demonstrations of their machines in use. A useful help in showing how each machine works, and answering all those questions a customer would want to ask before purchasing. You'll also find a wide range of high quality photos of each item, to give the clearest view of the product being purchased.

British designed products

In 2010, working with one of their equipment manufacturers; Jonathan, with his years of using & supplying carpet cleaning machines; designed a new twin motor, twin pump carpet cleaner, with a view to offering the professional carpet cleaning operator the ultimate, high performance machine, at the most competitive price on the market. The "Aquarius Contractor" is today, renowned as the operators choice for powerful carpet cleaners.
