Replacement Spark Plug for Petrol Pressure Washers
Keep your petrol pressure washer running at its best with this direct replacement spark plug. Designed to fit a wide range of petrol pressure washers, this is an essential maintenance item that every petrol machine owner should have to hand.
A worn or fouled spark plug is one of the most common causes of a petrol engine failing to start, running rough or cutting out during use. Replacing it is a quick and straightforward job that can save you significant time and money compared to a full service call.
Suitable for: A wide range of petrol pressure washers including Gorilla Power, Loncin and Honda powered machines. If you're unsure whether this plug is compatible with your machine, please don't hesitate to contact us before ordering.
How to fit your replacement spark plug:
Make sure the engine is completely cool and the fuel tap is turned off before starting.
Locate the spark plug on the side of the engine — it will have a rubber cap and lead attached to it.
Pull the rubber cap firmly off the top of the plug to disconnect it.
Using a spark plug socket and wrench, turn anticlockwise to unscrew and remove the old plug.
Check the gap on the new plug before fitting — this should typically be between 0.7mm and 0.8mm. Adjust if necessary.
Screw the new plug in by hand first to avoid cross threading, then tighten firmly with the socket wrench. Do not overtighten.
Reattach the rubber cap and lead firmly onto the top of the new plug.
Turn the fuel tap back on and start the engine as normal.
Tips:
We recommend replacing your spark plug at least once per season or every 25 hours of use as part of your regular maintenance routine.
If the old plug appears black and sooty it may indicate a rich fuel mixture or oil contamination — worth investigating further.
If the plug appears white or blistered it may indicate the engine is running too hot.
